The mist shrouding the trees of Blowing Rock, NC could leave one fearful of what lies beyond, but instead the vividness of the trees in the foreground contrasted with the black and gray of the background serve as a calm reminder to simply focus on what's in front and not what lies too far beyond. The ethereal fog allows just enough clarity through to remind the viewer of the beauty that lies behind the veil.

Sizes listed above are measured from the outside edge of each frame. All photos are printed on art quality, 100% cotton rag paper with a smooth matte finish using archival inks. Images are displayed in solid wood frames, with a bright white mat and protected by acrylic glass that filters 99% of UV rays. Each frame is outfitted with a pair of reinforcing corner hangers to ensure a level hang. To clean, use a small amount of mild soap and lukewarm water with a soft cloth or sponge. Do not use products containing ammonia.

Each piece is "made to order" and may take up to four weeks to print, mount, frame and ship.

Amanda Anderson is a fine art photographer based in Charlotte, NC. Drawing much of her inspiration from nature, her work is filled with warm brown tones and rich blue hues. A mother of three, she finds comfort, calm, and excitement behind the lens, and creates pieces that evoke a sense of serenity, peace and curiosity all at once.
